The Art of Postpartum Healing + Rituals
The Sacred Window refers to the initial 42 days following childbirth. In many Eastern Cultures, this period holds great importance, being considered sacred and essential for the well-being of both the new parents and the baby. There's a belief that the healing process during the first 4 weeks post-childbirth can impact the next 42 years of one's life.
Traditional practices during this time include focusing on nutrition, healing + rejuvenating the body, rest, bonding, and gradually reengaging with society.
This workshop was intentionally curated to help you incorporate some of these practices into your healing journey. In a “bounce-back” culture, how can we find stillness in this sacred time, and honor what our bodies have done for us? It is vital to our health and recovery to nourish and love ourselves postpartum.
